95/95 Olajuwon played 72 games but Drexler played 52 while Mario Ellie played 43....of course Maxwell
walked out on the team because he resented the Drexler trade using a team favorite Otis Thorpe.

I’m saying this more for others sake, not you tinman. Just venting. I loved thru it. People should watch
“Clutch City” if they haven’t watched it. It’s in the players own words. Maxwell was asked how he felt
about the ending of his time with Houston in 94/95. He said it was the dumbest thing he has ever done.

I love me some Vernon Maxwell. Losing him was part of the Rockets losing their heart and soul.
Drexler took over in those 94/95 playoffs; But like I said missed about 40 games the next year with no
    Maxwell backing him up.

Barkley joined the next year 96/97. Injuries hit him.

Real Rockets fans know Barkley was the reason we couldn't beat Utah.

Stop touching yourself over a 2nd Round victory - which was quickly followed by a CF loss.

Thank you for knowing what really happened in 97

There are Clutchfans who pretend to know about 97 but are just as fake as Max Kellerman

There's no hate for the SuperSonics in their posts, you know they are telling fake stories

Haven't read these 9 pages. Only wanted to join what I'm sure is a chorus of voices yelling "BULL****!"

Surely someone's linked tinman's great thread how MadMax and the early 90s Rockets constantly punked Jordan's Cows?

All of Jordan's championships should be asterisked because he didn't have to face Jordan.

Kenny is always going to be my dude. We don't win a championship without a few of his clutch threes. He has a little room in my mind but Chuck always hates on us. He never helped us win so I don't care about what he is talking about.

Just want to remind you what Espn thinks of the Rockets after winning two championships in a row

In your never ending quest of wanting a media company’s respect

You won’t get it even if we win ten championships

KD needed steph, klay, draymond, and a CP3 injury to win a championship.

Someone need to tell Max to look at those 2 years Rockets won Championships. Jordan actually played in the 95 season but the Bulls lost to Orlando who had Shaq, Penny, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant etc. Also if you look at the regular season match ups between Chicago and Houston, Houston had matched up really well against Jordan's Bulls.

The fact that the lie has been spread for over 20 years is insane and mainly it’s espn
TNT never does that because Kenny Smith , Barkley and Shaq were there on the court

But yet the new insecure and social media mad fans want attention so much from espn it’s hilarious

It’s like espn is the hot girl in high school and clutchfans is the guy standing next to her locker as she walks by and ignores them

The issue of espn is that since all newb fans love that network and they never mention the Rockets championships
The newb Rockets fans don’t even know who Hakeem is or even worse think he’s inferior to others in his era

But the pure fans know nobody in this league would touch him in his prime

Dream took the rockets to the finals in his second year
Oh Michael Jordan was playing that year too

Yes, I agree with you. Most of these fans now a days doesn't really know what exactly happened during those championship years. There is no way in hell, that Jordan and the Bulls are winning 8 years in a row. Orlando, Indiana was pretty good in the East, Also Miami gotten pretty good with Alonzo, Tim Hardway etc. So, there is a very good chance he wouldn't have come out of the East Winner. If he did, Rockets, Jazz, Spurs, Suns were very good during those years as well.
