If the Rockets go 5-5, they will be fine. If the Rockets some how go 7-3 (they are guaranteed to lose to the Thunder and Celtics) we can probably expect them to play 66% or 75% winning percentage the rest of the way as long as everyone is healthy.
I bet you would not bet if the Rockets were coming off a 5 game losing streak. Or one of JH and CP3 were injured. Nice timing. Never bet on Christmas or around New Year! Enough expenditures already.
They were also missing CP3 for that stretch. Not excusing a loss to the Cavs, but if he plays poorly or not at all, they struggle this season. That's the biggest change from last year when they started out the season great even with him in street clothes for the first month. The real bad stretch recently was that 0-3 road trip that preceded the 5-game winning streak. They blew a 19-point lead at Minnesota, laid down and quit against Utah even after being gifted the Gobert ejection, and then blew an 8-point lead with 2 minutes and change left in the 4th quarter at Dallas. Not sure what the hell was wrong with the team, but let's hope they got that garbage out of their system for good.
5-0 since Ennis went out. No need to insert him back into starting role. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
Don't disagree, if we're comparing road trips they were both abysmal. The Cavs loss had to have been the worst of the season though. That was just a joke.
Codman, thanks.........you're The Goods. I do wonder what you know, or what you think you know , about Morey talking with Ainge. For me it's difficult to imagine a trade between them, as each tries to out-**c* the other, but the Celtics do have too much talent and so difficult-to-define roles, while the Rockets need depth. But if this is an AD thing, I can't hold my breath.
