I'm fine. Perhaps calling someone a disease is what this message board is all about. For a third time it is just my opinion from what I have read in the past. There was a reason a D&D area was created.

I'll take Cousins over Capela. Right now Capela probably (alley-)oop better but Cousins can (pick and )pop anywhere from outside the 3pt line. And I dont think Capela can grow anymore into the player Cousins is right now. Capela still makes terrible little mistakes that gets us an offensive foul or turnover.

I know Cousins attitude is a cause of concern, but we have CP3 and Harden to reign him in. I just see a Rasheed Wallace type vibe if he were to join us this year. He'll buck up and take us over the top. He's also one of the few stars like Harden and CP3 who languished on teams being the lone reliable superstar to carry their teams. I mean we know he has the skills to be MVP. I know he can beat up Durant if we need him to.

Of course for NOP to put him on trade list is a season ending injury to AD, which is possible anytime. Rondo and JHoliday to fall off too.

That was completely on the Pelicans coaching staff. They had no one help on Capela, it was a coaching decision to keep our shooters covered. Cousins had no choice but to stop the ball (Harden).

Count me as someone who would absolutely be for getting Cousins. Just so damn talented. His only problem is his insane attitude, he does stuff like the Ariza push all the time, he also had very shitty body language and gave up on running back on D after not getting calls on offense. He has a serious attitude problem, but his talent is just too much for me to not want to take that gamble on his working out for us if we could trade for him.

yup not a cousins fan though but if your'e picking up cousins to be your defensive anchor or be someone you can rely on defensively on a nightly basis in the middle, you're kidding yourself. hes not that type of player.

I’m good on Cousins now...if it’s not Bron Bron or PG13 then I don’t want to hear it

Cousins is too emotional...we don’t need to give CP3 and the other leaders in our locker room the burden of trying to keep him under control every day...the team has great chemistry right now, Cousins could come in and ruin things

he also looked like Kanter trying to defend the PnR last night

Capela fits what we do perfectly...upgrade that SF position and we’d be right up there with GS

this team is going to give GS a lot of trouble. I hope the league continues to not take the rockets that serious

I personally have zero problem with Cousin's attitude. I really like the edge that he plays with, and I love that he always plays hard. If he was a Rocket I would LOVE that **** compared to guys that are passive and disappear in big games. That might just be years of watching Vernon play, but I personally love it. With Boogie though, that pick and roll defense is definitely an issue. Thankfully though, GSW doesn't run a great pick and roll anyway, so it might not be a huge problem. Being able to stretch the defense as a C would be incredible for this offense, and that guy sets some unbelievable picks, and he is incredibly nimble around the rim. Draymond would get destroyed down low.

All of that said, Lebron is clearly the guy Daryl Morey is after If we don't win a championship this year.

End thread. Capela has been playing out of his mind this season and is the perfect C for this team. CP even said Clint was MVP of the game for running Cousins into the ground and rim protection.

and we only have 2 stars right now while they have 4

if we upgraded from Ariza (who’s been playing well) to somebody like PG, then I’m very confident we could beat them in a 7 game series

Cousins is not the answer...I’d rather just keep Capela who gives us exactly what we need and is low ego/comes with no drama

Cousins is talented, but he’s flawed, and it’s too easy to get in his head

How do u let soft ass KD bother u so much that u get ejected and then try to follow him back to GS’s locker room? C’mon man

it must be draining trying to keep this dude in check

The best game of Capela's career. He moved and banged with Cousins defensively, especially down the stretch, and absorbed Cousins physicality while still maintaining great positioning to make the defensive stop. And then he ran Cousins butt off on the other end. Very scintillating performance with an exhibition of stamina.

Can he perform at this level in a 7 game series against Draymond? Can he perform at this level for 7 games against Pau and LaMarcus?.

    1. Clint Capela will be riding pine for PJ Tucker when GSW takes Zaza and McGee out, IMO. It's asking a lot for any C to keep up with the Warriors. Cousins MIGHT be unplayable too. Almost everyone is. That's a puzzle that has yet to be figured out. Tristan and Lebron showed us something before they got Durant, but with Durant, I haven't seen anyone legitimately figure out how to defend them. It might take Lebron at PF/C to really take out the Warriors.
    2. He matches up well with Pau and Lamarcus. Played very well against them last year, with only Ryan Anderson down there to help him out. Not worried about our bigs against the Spurs.
