Jones won, and the pervert lost. Huge win for Democrats, and it points to big gains in 2018 for my party.

That is correct. then Trump went on to support Moore after they found common ground in sexualizing children.

And all it took was a racist gay hating antisemitic pedophile. He also only lost by 1%. 49% of Alabama voted for Moore. It took the worst candidate possible to barely win an election. I don't know if this a good sign for the democrats.

I personally don't think this thread is in good taste or has the right focus . It's not about my party or the other party. It should be happiness that the American people are not willing to vote in horrible leaders, regardless of which side they stand.

Yes, before supporting Moore, and even putting out a robo-call in hopes to get Moore elected.

It means we should be happy decency won, not 'my party'.

We shouldn't be celebrating victories over people who should not be office in the first place. We should be ashamed our parties are not putting reputable people on the line, even if you disagree with their policies.

This is a criticism against the 'my party' people, which includes the 48% of the people who voted for Moore.

I agree. I wish both candidates were as competent and upstanding as possible with what people know at that point in time.

Deckard's statement didn't necessarily mean his party over the country's success/failures.

    It's a subtle injection.

True. But we avoid the embarrassment of voting in a crazy, racist, accused sex offender twice in 13 months.

Trump supported Strange late in the race when it appeared Strange would win.

After Strange lost Trump oddly deleted all his tweets supporting Strange.

Trump then late in the race supported Moore and praised him.

Moore then lost so we will have to see what Trump does not to separate himself from Moore.

What I find troubling is that President of United States (who has been accused by a number of women sexual assault/harassment) actively campaigned for and supported a candidate that had multiple women accuse him of sexual assault/harassment when they were still teenagers.

If everyone now is suddenly in agreement that Moore morally wasn’t electable, then everyone should really be concerned that the current President actively attempted to get Moore elected.

A win for decency in this country.

And a slap to Trump and Bannon.
