Don’t like players with two last names

Probably noise made up by teams that want to trade down with the Texans and/or Panthers but the Texans might have to over pay if they want to move up to get one of the top 3

From what I hear, Texans have Dillard and Williams as 1a, 1b.

They have Byron Murphy over Greedy as the next two on board.

Then Jawaan Taylor and then start the second tier lineman like Ford and Tytus Howard.

My guess is they'll attempt to trade up for one of the two tackles, depending on how the draft goes, and the price they'd need to pay.

If they can't trade up, I think they'll take Murphy or Greedy. If those guys aren't available, I'd expect a trade back and then drafting someone like Ford or Howard.

I'd much prefer Ford to Howard. I'd love a trade back and Ford and then hope Risner feel to the second pick and then take BPA with our second second round pick.

These are just things I've heard, coupled with my thoughts.

Is this inside info, or just what you've read on the internet?

LZ said this on air yesterday. He was saying someone from another team had mentioned it to him

This is the ideal scenario but from all appearances, most teams would like to trade back for more picks. Finding a trade partner to move up will be easy, but I seriously hope they don't do it unless it's for Jonah Williams and even then it better not cost us an arm and a leg.
Texans realistically need all the high picks they can get.

Extra picks are a premium in this draft.
Looks like the Raiders figured this out some time ago.
They have 4 picks inside the top 35 - lost Mack and Cooper to get there though.

Seems like they'll definitely try to move up. If unable, think they'll trade back to target Rock Ya-Sin and hope Howard, Risner or Little falls. I just hope they don’t try and get cute if Ford is there at #23.

Everyone knows Texans want an OT so they're going to want more from us.

Giving up picks to move up in the draft would be a bad idea. The Texans need multiple linemen. Not just one.
Just wait your turn and pick the best lineman left. You're still talking about possibly Dillard, Risner, Ford and others. You get a chance again to strike gold with two 2nd rounders. Greg Little in the 2nd would be a good pick.

So, does the first tweet apply to the second tweet? Are you lying to us, Pat?

They can want all they... well, want - but this isn't extortion. They want something, too, and if we're the only ones offering it - well, we have some leverage, as well.
