He has upside. Would his 57 TS% carryover to more minutes? If your evaluations say yes then he would be worth the contract offer.

Portland should just pay him to be their starting 2 guard. He has the prototypical size for the position and is better defensively compared to CJ. Not the shooter/scorer McCollum is but he's still competent.

That's where we swoop in and snatch CJ away. I would trade Capela for him. Also, I could see Philly offering Noel or Okafor for him.

This guy intrigues me a lot. If Harden wants the ball in his hands majority of the time then why don't we just move him to PG and have two solid wing defenders...ex. Ariza and Crabbe who are also great spot up shooters.

The Rockets should definitely consider changing Hardens position on this team. They have to consider matching up with Golden State and it starts with defense.

Portland's not trading McCollum for Clint Capela. I'd be surprised if they did it for Noel or Okafor.

They're obviously not the splash brothers but us g the same model, with an otherwise ho hum team they way overexceeded expectations.

Portlands GM would be smart to build on it.

    Who is t-ghost? Jones?

I think the increasing urbanization of this post is too much for me.

There's nowhere to cut when our offense has one guy at the top of the key and 4 people as close to the baseline as humanly possible.... It also explains why every time Harden misses, it's easy for the other team to run on fast breaks, making our defense look worse than it already is.

We already have a Crabbe - only he goes by the name of McDaniels. Develop this guy and you'll have an equivalent player.

Portland is full of young talent, whereas all we have is bunch of declining, worn-out players... sometimes young guys with little name recognition can outperform over-the-hill players with big names. I hope Morey realizes that.

You would adjust your game plane on a team to team basis.

He's OK. My concern - he has horrible defensive metrics and seems to have the Brewer-like problem of expending lots of energy without staying locked.

    But, he's nearly a 40% 3 point shooter.

Crabbe can shoot. McDaniels cannot. McDaniels is a lousy version of Crabbe.

It would be a waste of cap space to sign this guy....back up SG isn't really a priority, we can put KJ out there for 12 mins...Now if you get a big name FA first...then maybe you take the gamble to increase overall team talent, and use him as a back up 2, small ball 3, and/or SG with james PG.

KJ doesn't have natural touch on his shots...can't teach that..awkward jumpshot as well.
