    Yeah, that was a smart move to take Paxton out. Ballsy but ultimately right.

    And you know, it's not even about grinding out at-bats. It's just about batting with the intensity that those two showed in that situation. They were locked in. Springer's fouling off 101 and managing to pass on 87. It's a different state of mind. Bagwell's talked about it about how he felt more focused when he'd get guys in scoring position, and the ball would seem to slow down a little bit.

    Now imagine if your batters just got a little closer to that sort of mentality throughout the whole game instead of chucking hundreds of at-bats out the window like they mean nothing. Just bring the intensity. If the playoffs don't bring that out of you, you don't deserve to win.
