He's definitely one of the toughest guys in the league. He beats guys up with his style of play. I respect how he modified his career from being a streaky forward with an attitude into a consistent scorer and rebounder, with a focus on winning. I'd say his worst years, even with the decent stats, were with the Clippers. He was lost as a human being. I think I read an article where he said as much, but he also claimed that team was broken and every guys was just looking to get his. As much as I like what he does, I really hope the Grizz lose some steam. They're keeping things together even with Marc's injury. Why can't the basketball gods give us some hope and dump them to the 8th spot? I feel like we have a chance against the Thunder, and a small, small possibility against the Spurs. There's no way in hell we're taking out GS in the first round. They'll be at their weakest in the second round when they are a little banged up.
Too bad they have zero chance against the Warriors, Spurs, thunder or clippers in the first round without Marc. Whoever of those 4 gets to play the Grizzlies in the first round is fortunate. Hard to imagine he was on that Jail Blazers team. He's turned things around. My favorite ZBO story every is him sucker punching Teammate Ruben Patterson (a legit crazy guy), and then having to go to another teammates place to hide.
