Was making fun of a friends husbands MySpace page. Her hubby seems to pose in front of the Rebel flag at every opportunity. If he is at the grand canyon or in Vegas it seems like he has someone set up the ol stars and bars as a backdrop. My question is which of the following would you be comfortable posing with?
I voted for Bush the Elder, but really I would be fine posing for a picture with any or all of them. The rebel flag would be my last choice, but if the photog wanted it in the picture, it wouldn't bother me enough to refuse. I don't agree with the politics of a lot of them (especially Hanoi Jane) but it would still be pretty neat to have a picture of myself with someone that famous.
I'm a Democrat, a Texan, I enjoyed The China Syndrome, Barefoot in the Park and Sunday in New York, and I have "Bonnie Blue Flag" and "Kingdom Coming" in my Itunes library, so all of 'em.
i've been in several photos with the rebel flag my old man has taken a few pictures w/ george sr. and barbara and i would gladly take a photo w/ clinton i guess if the opportunity presented itself, i would most definitely take a picture w/ dubya, but it wouldn't be because i approved of his administration. i couldn't care less about fonda.
I'd pose with all of them. But I've never been one to try and have my picture taken with anyone. I to leave famous people be. BTW, Am I the only one to notice that the Rebel Flag has only been demonized in the past 15 years? It is ridiculous. It stands a hell of a lot more for southern pride than it ever stood for slavery.
