I am not sure where Marcus will go in the draft. But I will propose two scenarios for you guys. tell me what you think. would you trade our pick for a slightly lower pick and fodder and take Chris Marcus. Or would you go after Qyntel Woods. As for me I would take Woods but his knee does worry me.

I know Woods had a knee injury a year or so ago and had surgery.Do you know if he has had a new or recurrent injury?
Woods has been scoring around 32 points a game this year,if he is all right I would take him instead of Marcus.

    Woods.

Wouldn't mind Marcus if he somehow slipped to the 15 pick, but if Marcus is the main guy we get out of the draft I would be

    EXTREMELY dissapointed.

Good point it's not recurring, and I would be dissapointed if that's all that we got as well, but I am sure that we could get two draft picks for a pick this high or trade Woods for Marcus and another player.

marcus would greatly dissappoint me at #5! We need an impact player this high, and Woods would fit that bill. He has the potential to be a star. Marcus does not have the athleticism, or overall game to warrant a high selection. He's just another big body. I say go after woods, and pick up Marc Jackson, the center, from Minny this off season.

The Rockets can not get pick #4 so...

I would take Woods with #5 or lower but not at #3 (Ming, Williams or Wagner will be available at #3). I would auction off #3 to the highest bidder (trade down + a short contract vet).

Unless his workout is exceptional, no higher than #10 for Marcus (or 8 for Borchardt, 12 for Ely/Stoudamire).

Personally, I prefer Jerome James over Jackson. He's bigger, better and costs less (James is a FA - no trade needed).

The Rockets don't have impact rookies because they don't get a chance to play.

    Woods.

Marcus might be worth consideration at #15, but I'll cry if he's taken with the #5. There would be no excuse.
