dullest basketball game? Shouldn't this be in GARM? :D

I'm pretty sure there was a 2-0 game a while back, but I can't remember...

Does anyone remember the game, I believe it was a high school girls freshman game, where the refs called so many fouls on a team that they only had 1 player left on the court when it was through? I remember hearing about it on the news a few years back, I'm not sure where it had happened at.

I rememebr reading about the 2-0 game years ago too. One team was totally outclassed and decided to hold the ball. The other team won the opening tip and scored, and the other team held the ball for the last shot of the half (they played 2 halves and not 4 quarters). They missed the shot. They got the ball to start the second half and held if for the last shot, which they missed.

Coaches that pull that kind of stuff need to be shot. It's a freakin' game!

Who knows, if they played they might get better and play well enough to beat a different team.

everytime I see these games it makes my blood boil.

I'd be lighting dog **** or something and putting it on porches after this game.

it'd inspire the team for sure.

I agree, pretty ridiculous to hold the ball the whole game after just one bucket. It's one thing to hold it towards the end of the game if you're up, but from the get go with a score of 2-0 is ridiculous. One question though in these types of games, why didnt the team getting the shaft just foul? Foul them enough to get to the 1 and 1 or what not and make them earn it at the charity stripe?
