Remember when the Rockets won 45 games that season two years ago. Usually, 45 games mean you were in the playoffs. This was with basically the same team sorta. Just a few different players. Our center was Cato/Dream. Hakeem was great for a streach of 15 games or so. Cato was well.. Cato.

Let's take a look. Old Hakeem, that is washed up and with some bad wheels, or young raw talen that can run up and down the court, however frail and fragile looking somewhat?

Last year was a fluke year. Too many injuries to important cogs in the machine.

Glen Rice wasn't part of that team two years ago, nor this year.

So basically, we have a playoff team. All we are doing is just adding Yao at center.

What i'm saying here is that we already have a playoff contending team. Maybe if we had a Yao kind of center two years ago instead of dream or fato, we could of been in the playoffs.

    I thank you.

i agree, i think last year was a fluke in the same way the 2000 astros' season was. injuries hit hard no matter what someone wants to say. most importantly everyone needs to stay healthy and i see atleast an eighth seed. depending on yao's adjustment time it could be quite higher.
