    i have watched Trevor Ariza preseason and the first game and i just think this guy cannot dribble the ball at all and paying him around 5mil a year was dumb of the rockets, all he does for this team is really nothing except get in the way......not worth what they paid....

    definitely overpaid for him, I don't think anyone would say otherwise. He is a nice role player, nothing more than that. A guy that can start on occasion or come off the bench.

    In the grand scheme of things, the MLE is not much to pay, especially for a starter. Call it "good value".

    I do agree that his signing never strike me as a wow unless we are trading Battier and T-Mac.

    The idea of Ariza as a scorer is not a great one. For that purpouse i would have pursued a more offensive oriented player.

    So, what do you expect for 5 mil anyways? As of now, he's playing a little worse than Batman who's paid more than he is, and he'll definitely improve particularly when Tracy returns. Not really a bad signing.

    That's where you should have paused and re-evaluated your post....i dont get these threads...i mean, at least lie to us and tell us you've been a long time fan, watched him since he was in diapers...don't come straight out and tell us you've only watched him for a month...

    Yes he's not exactly tim hardaway when he dribbles, but the guy isn't a bad pick up at that price..

    I have a feeling that this person is pulling a prank on us, and satirizing how everyone always overreacts after a bad game.

    The reason I have this notion is because they changed their sig. to something even more ludicrous after I said something about it, and they also have a pretty low post count.
