No frills on their live DVD, oh no. Not an extra in sight: just one unedited, unadulterated night of raw rock’n’roll exuberance shot on grainy Super 8, perfectly reflecting the authentic vintage approach that underpins their music. You get it warts and all, 26 tracks, including all the hits and live favourites like Dolly Parton’s Jolene. But then, being The White Stripes, the warts are beautiful. There’s no gloss here, just one of the best live acts in the world caught at the height of their powers.
