the charlotte annoucers mentioned he was inactive and not at the game because of a personal issue.

 

he was on xbox live playing streetfighter cause real streetfighters play streetfighter.
maybe some guitar hero, playing 'wayward son'.

Finally, Steve Francis will not only be inactive, he's on the inactive list.
He flew to Charlotte with the team yesterday, but returned home this morning for a "personal matter." It is an excused absence. He is expected back for Tuesday's game in Memphis.

He was last seen carrying Rafer's luggage to a long black limo. I don't think Rafer will be taking a 100ft shot in crunch time ever again.

LOL I was about to go to NFL.com to see if superbowl is this sunday. Too bad colts and pats are not playing this weekend, otherwise it would be more suspicious.

Two reasons for the excused absence:

1. He really had some personal problems back at home and since he figured he won't be playing, decided to go home and take care of it.

2. He had a disagreement with RA and was sent home. "Personal reason" was just a way to save some face.

 

Steve: **** YOU RA, let me play.
Aldeman: No steve, you are out of shape.
Steve: **** that man, I can shoot better than Rafer with ten pounds of fat attached to my shooting arm and Luther hangs on my other arm.
Aldeman: Just get back in shape in practice.
Steve: Practice, we talking about practice, we are not even talking about a real game, we talking about Practice?!
Aldeman: ...(muhaha, don't give me that Iverson crap).
