It was tech, then housing, then oil and commodities, but all those seem to have died what will be the next pump on wall street?

My guess would be that Green types of energy and housing will be the next big thing. It's already on the rise. Also tech will continue because of the new innovations in mobile phone technologies. It won't be as huge as the first tech bubble, but it will be big.

Eric Janzsen from the well regarded financial site, Itulip.com had a very interesting piece about this in Harper's Magazine in April 2008. Basically he states, the US goes from bubble to bubble to prevent itself from economic collapse.

By the way, Eric Janszen and his site Itulip.com has called this economic collapse right on the money. Its well worth reading if you are serious about the markets.

They have already pumped solar. I think mobile phones will or have become commodity product like TVs maybe apple can change that, but maybe not.

Yeah, solar has been sold off hard in the past couple of weeks along with the rest of energy. Forget about that play.

Discount retailers are performing real well lately. TGT, WMT.
