    Some of you keep insisting that Denver would never consider our trade proposal because New Jersey has way more to offer. The part many of you fail to realize is that New Jersey is only willing to give up those assets if Melo signs an extension. So in essense comparing what the rockets are offering to New Jersey is like comparing apples and oranges because Morey seems to be willing to trade for him without the extension. Get it..........GOOD.

    p.s. i still dont think we are gonna get him

    uhmm....good thread, but nj is not getting melo.

    I predict what is going to happen is we trade melo with our assets. he walks to ny in the summer. we get back those assets again from new york.

    so basically we trade battier/brooks/jefferies/budinger for gallinari/douglas/chandler with a free 2 month one night stand with melo

    Oh New Jersey is really out of it. If they arent? Nuggets should jump right back on anything they offer them next again. Because thats as good as those dummies have any shot of getting.

    if melo doesn't sign the extension new jersey has no interest in the trade hence the topic of discussion.........lol

    Yeah good points. Rockets have the upper hand right now it seems. This thing is worse than a daytime drama. It seems like Denver only wants to deal with East coast teams but that could change real quick when they realize Morey has the goods they want. Just like a drug dealer. They need fix and Morey could be the only reasonable dealer in town. Give em the good stuff Morey. :)
