not that anyone cares...... I watched all eight episodes of the very first season of Northern Exposure on DVD. Up until now, the only show I've ever watched somewhat religiously has been Deadwood, and it is only in its first season. I wish I would have watched Northern Exposure like that. What a great show. I'll be the first to buy season two.
Northern Exposure was one of the last television shows I actually watched on a regular basis. I really liked the characters and the story-weirdness of it. I liked that there seemed to be some sort of off-kilter metaphysical theme in each episode. But, once they broke up the original cast I lost interest. The music was usually really interesting too.
i was gonna start a new thread about how everybody's M-day went, but this will suffice.... after scouring san marcos for tubes for nearly 2 1/2 hours, we finally floated the blanco river w/ about 30 of my closest bros and lady friends. one of the best floats i've had since i've been in school here, and that's saying a lot. the river was packed, the booze was plentiful, and the females were hot and in abundance . and the best part was reaching our final destination, a little hang-out place right on the river where the good times continued for another 2 or 3 hours.... with about 700 of our closest friends. and no haters. and i'm drunk. and kinda stoned. that's what i did todayy.
I never watched that show until a few years ago when they had reruns on A&E. I was surprised how much I liked it. It would come on at 7 in the morning and I would watch it before work. It was a good way to start the day. Where are the good shows like that these days?
I never watched the show during its first run, but watched it during syndication. I was actually surprised I enjoyed the show. Whatever happened to Janine Turner anyway?
Man I just got off the phone with my ex girlfriend and she's comin over. I haven't seen her in a year and I pray to Jeebus I'm not still into her at all... Picked out a perfect outfit, tshirt, basketball shorts and my good ol' Nikes to run away if anything goes wrong. I usually don't get into drama with women but she was the exception. She's the only girl who can mentally kick my ass. It's crazy and I don't like it but I'm banking on the fact that since all that 'us' stuff happened so long ago that it'll be fine. Hayjon02 knows. She told me she was still a Comets dancer so that's cool. She's prolly bankin. Wonder if she's chunky at all. Damn I'm evil. Anyway, the whole last 10 minutes have been an ordeal. But it'll be amusing and like living in reality TV.
You wanna know what I did today?!?! I took a pee left handed at my girlfriend's house! It was great, I never knew I was so damn talented. Afterwards (after washing my hands) I gave her a big smooch for being such a great gal.
