I need some music at a coffee shop in downtown. I have XM at one of the locations and it works fine. Muzak is way too expensive.

Well one location is in the tunnell and its not possible to get XM down there. I don't want to put a CD player because you constantly have to change it and the employees will start playing their own crap.

So someone suggested that I get an ipod and hook it up to the recievers and speakers. That part is done. Now I need some freakin coffee shop type music to put on the ipod.

This same person suggested that I do something with a "podcast". Now I've heard that term but have no idea what it is.

I just want to download like 10 hours of music on the ipod and leave it for a month or two. And then change it around. I don't want to sit and actually burn all types of CD's on my comp and then onto the ipod.

    Is there an easier way?

radio broadcasting on ipod. instead of listening to LIVE radio broadcasting, you can download a recorded epsidode and listen to it on your free time using your portable player.

Apple's way of thinking you need an iPod to listen to an mp3.

You can go to several websites and download mp3's of various subjects. For example, I download financial show mp3's and listen to them on my Clix mp3 player.

I don't know if you run into licensing issues with playing copyrighted stuff via podcast, but I'll leave that to you to figure out... :)
