West vs East overall ??

    We all know aobut the Rockets domination over the east but what is the entire conference totals west vs east ??

    Hi, Old School!!

    According to NBA standings at espn.com, including tonight's games, the Western Conference teams are 199-125 this year (.614 winning percentage) vs. the Eastern Conference teams. Of course, you flip that record around (125-199, .386 winning percentage) when you talk about Eastern Conference teams vs. Western Conference teams this year.

    On the same vein, and not to steal your thread or anything, but is there an Eastern Conference team that has dominated the West like the Rockets have dominated the East?

    I laugh at all those "power rankings" which rate Philly & the Bucks so high just to make it seem like the East can compete. Maybe my eyes are a little biased because I watch the Rockets dominate the East, but it seems to me those teams are just not on the same level with the top teams of the West.
