i don't have huge expectations for ming his first year. i'm willing to wait a few years to see if he becomes great. But is that so bad? coming into last year everyone had high expectations for this team after they barely missed the playoffs with 45 wins. The team is still talented enough to win 45 and make the playoffs and we would have this year if we didn't get plagued by the injury bug. SO even if MIng sux we still have a solid foundation and future with griffen who should dramatically improve. MO taylor will be back and rice and who knows rice may still be good and was just suffering from too many injuries. My goal is just to make the playoffs and by the time ming comes around, challenge the lakers dynasty with 6 titles in a row and send shaq into retirement.
