As promised to ESource...here is the thread. Congrats to the Longhorns. They clearly had the better team on that day. The night before the game I was at the Paris casino sports book in Las Vegas. I almost placed a bet on the game, thinking that A&M wouldn't lose by more than 23 points. I am very glad I didn't place that bet. Hopefully that will be the last nail in RC's coaching coffin.
At the Paris...A&M was listed as +23. If I recall correctly Texas was listed as -10. It was part of a parlay.
How'd you like the Paris? I was also tempted to start a thread about the idiot Yell Leaders who now believe it's there job to keep UT people off their own field.
It was nice, but too loud and busy for my tastes. I REALLY enjoyed the Aladdin (where I stayed). The casino at the Aladdin has a laid back feel to it. Very cool place. I recommend the Aladdin to anybody who is planning a trip to Vegas.
