As a journalist I'm in favor of suing for copy and pasting an entire article. That's not fair to the writer or the publication, blog's can't be allowed to undermine a legit business that's already struggling. However, proper citation and linking isn't a bad thing. However, no one properly restricts themselves on the Internet to just properly cite something and use a small section. They go all out and copy the entire thing, usually without credit to the publication or the writer.

 

Maybe this is what we need to get our courts to recognize lawsuit abuse - especially in the copyright arena.
