I understand your point, but being superstitious doesn't make this person any less of a "real Christian", any more than throwing salt over your shoulder would make you less of an atheist.

No i do not think they are less of a christian because of these things. however because of these things there are people who think less of christians because they think they lost their grip of reality, and want to see signs everywere. I have to say i do not agree with those people. So i do not think they are bad christians, just strange people.

i remember when that little girl saw the virgin mary in her backyard about 13 years ago. she lived 3 blocks away from me. i was just astounded by the number of people that showed up everyday asking her (little girl) to tell Mary to take care of their sick loved ones or whatever. it was definitely weird.

 

What's funny is the tilted-head thing. Apparently, Mary had some sort of chronic neck ailment.

I don't understand why people cannot make a distinciton between

a) "this burn mark in my pizza pan resembles that picture of mary"
vs
b) "this burn mark in my pizza pan resembles the mary"

I guess it does not matter since you light candles and pray or whatever regardless.
