A friend showed these to me, and at first I thought they were a little sacreligous. But then I discovered the story about them here . These are some clips from the famous "Jesus" movie that have been dubbed over. They are meant as a look at Jesus, through the eyes of non-believers. Basically, it is how many, non-christians see Jesus. Some of these are pretty hilarious and somewhat true once you understand the concept. Movie 1 Movie 2 Movie 3 Movie 4
Some of my favorites: " What in the name of Me is going on here" "I walked on Water, I think I can walk through the door" "I have the holiest donkey in all the land... Will my donkey go to heaven?"
actually, i don't think it's meant as much about how non-believers view Christ, but as how the church in America has viewed Christ for way too long. nitpicky...judgmental...sissified. (i think that's a word). in stark contrast to Jesus as he's presented in the New Testament.
I don't disagree with that at all. In fact that is really kind of what they say in the preface on their site. The friend that showed them to me had talked about it with his Sunday School class and they were the ones that talked about how non-believers viewed Christ.
there's truth to that. no doubt. i just think it's all people have been presented about who Christ is. i blame that on the Church...which is convicting myself, as well.
