Nice vid, but you cant throw down someone with a hit with a newspaper, and the hit, its stronger as the strength of the person hitting.

If a kid, hits you a newspaper, it doesnt hurt, and you even can stop the newspaper from hitting you.

Most of the technique is questionable at best but a newspaper can be used for self-defense. If a newspaper can be rolled up tight enough it can be hard enough to swing as a club. The problem there though is that most people probably can't roll up a paper that tight and keep it that tight while they are swinging.

What works better is to roll it up and rather than swing it as a club use the end of it to jab throat, groin, solar plexus and other areas that can create a lot of pain.
