How can you not? I spent four nights over there during New Year's weekend most recently, and we had a f'n blast. I caught some of the Travel Channel special tonight, and it was pretty weak, though. It was only for the beginners and very uninformed. The only way to gain real strategy is to actually play.
Great to visit, not to live. I've been here for 8 years and if I could find a good paying job back in Houston I would leave here faster than you can say blackjack. Las Vegas does have it's plusses like weather, and beautiful surroundings, beautiful women and gambling up the wazoo, but it doesn't make up for the bad traffic, transient population, water shortages, impending nuclear waste dump, soulless casino's,ultra-strict DMV,and etc.,etc. I'll miss it when I leave but not as much as I miss Houston. Visitor's have fun. potential resident's beware.
Parents just got back from Vegas. Instead of souveneirs or shot glasses or something lame like that, I got a couple Star Trek: The Experience t-shirts complete with embroidered Starfleet insignias. .....I mean ..... a gunrack....
