    AJ Hinch thanked the Mets pre-game for accommodating the Astros request for an off day yesterday and to play two today instead. Also thanked the Mets for spending the off say serving the Houston community. I hate to keep harping on it, but you see what Jacksonville was willing to do with the Texans, what the Mets are doing this weekend, and it just makes me hate the Rangers organization that much more.

    Davis' OPS up to .814. He's Chris Carter-esque but I've been impressed that he has been able to hang offensively.
