Know NADA about this kinda stuff - anyone able to provide any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just went through a brief but reasonably powerful storm (wind, rain) during which lost all but one of our local TV channels... its now a couple of hours later and the stations remain all "snow".

usually when this happened in the past things have been up and running again within, I would guess, no more than 20-30 minutes.

had a quick look at the outside aerial, and from the ground it appears as normal. The one remaining station (of which there's only 4) is perfectly normal also.

what should I be checking or who should I be contacting for help now?

    thanks.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be contacting the police about this.

I think you should REJOICE that your TV is out. We all need a break from it anyways.

He got his 30 minute break when the power went out. I think thats more than enough time. Get that thing fixed, pronto.
