Is $15,200 including TTL a good deal?

Just the basic options of an LE. That invoice looks like it's for a CE. Prices for an LE are:

    NADA and Edmunds:

    Invoice Price: $14,197
    MSRP Price : $15,690

you probably can't get a TC for that much and you definitely can't get a cooper for that much.

I'd get a truck in that price range, but then I don't like being low to the ground.

you are right, but what I'm saying is you aren't getting anything special... keep looking, that deal isn't going to disapear out from under you if you can't find anything better

If you need a car, asap, Go for it

    True story:

A friend of mine and her boyfriend where in an accident in their Corolla. As they entered a freeway, the SUV in front of them came to a stop. They hit the brakes, and didn't hit the SUV. Then an 18-wheeler, going about 40 - 50 mph, smashed into them from behind pushing them forward and sandwiching their Corolla between the SUV and the 18-wheeler. The Corolla was completely demolished. Both my friend and her boyfriend...
walked away from the accident uninjured.

FWIW, a coworker of mine has a 2004 Corolla LE, and it is one of the most plain, boring cars I've ever been in. On the plus side, it is quite reliable. Maybe you should look at the Civic or the Nissan Altima.

Well, I would easily go get a G35, but I'm just looking for an A-B car.

In that case the Corolla is a reasonable choice. However, it comes with a certain stigma. Most recent immigrants from India make it a priority to purchase a Corolla shortly after arriving in the land of opportunity. :)

If you're going to buy a corolla, just make sure it has a clock. I know from personal experience that there exist corollas without any kind of time display whatsoever.

And see if it has a switch to open the trunk from inside the cabin, because I also know from personal experience that it completely sucks ass when you lock your keys in the trunk and have to pay out the butt to get them back.

I wanted a cheap, economical car, but didn't want to get something too boring. So far I am really liking my Mazda3 5 door ($17.5k after TTL).

Corollas are great in terms of reliability. Toyotas in general. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially for an entry-level vehicle.

I'm about to drive MINE (RED LE) out of my work's garage in about 5 minutes.

TOYOTA COROLLAs rock! THat's a good deal, my friend. 15k? Awesome... ours cost 21k. :( made a bad deal... but now we're just enjoying it... never has given us any problem at all, even after I t-boned a lady with a Ford Expedition when she crossed a red light
