I am so sad with this season-ending injury of Chuck Barkley. Not the way it should have ended for him. What a warrior! In his conference a few minutes ago, he says it is definitely over. He said he may get stubborn and want to play again but really in his heart he knows it is over, that The Big Man in the Sky wanted him to finish his career where it began - in Philly. He also said if he makes the Hall of Fame, it will be as a 76er. He said he is not sad, that he's had a great career and met a lot of great people. My heart is very heavy. Don't know what else to say. But thanks Clutch for the opportunity to post anyway. I Salute the Great CHARLES BARKLEY!
Another great warrior went down, and the damn Rockets can't even win this one for him. Sighs. Rudy is probably crying right now as he knows that Charles Barkley, the guy who took the blame for the team's underachievement and his sub par coaching, will not be there to cover his ass anymore.
