They had to show Golden State v.s. Utah???? Did they really think this is a must-see game. One of those bad TNT Moviesis better to watch.

I'm loving the hell out of this game.

I'm on my second bourbon and Diet, but it's a treat to see two of the better coached teams in the league with Doug Collins behind the mic.

Doug Collins rules. I'm glad he's back behind the mic. His voice (along with Al Michaels and Tim McCarver) is made for announcing.

The game sucked, but Barkley/Smith/Johnson was pretty funny, though. At half-time, they showed the Iowa caucus results, and Barkley went nuts about how great Edwards did.

BARKLEY: I'm glad to see him do well. I've been behind him since the beginning.

ERNIE: I thought you were a Republican?

BARKLEY: I was, until Republicans started screwing the poor people.

    (five second silence)

    ERNIE: OK, back to basketball.

    It was awesome.

any game in which the Jazz get their asses kicked is fine with me...

For the late game, it was either Utah/Golden State, Lakers/Suns, or Clippers/Kings. I suspect that the original scheduled game was the Lakers game, but with Malone, Shaq, and Kobe out, they thought that Utah and Golden State would be a better matchup.

Looking back at the games, it probably looks like the Clips/Kings game was the most entertaining...until the fourth quarter, then they could have cut in on the Suns/Lakers game in the fourth...
