    I think it's b/c they made the new jerseys this year.

    Meh. Really wish they had gone with green; it's a unique color that hardly any teams use (except Celtics and Bucks, two different shades). Their new logo set gave them opportunity to do some awesome and give an identity to a club that really needs one. These jerseys don't do that.
