    The Wealthy Versus The Poor

With the dwiddling of the Middle Class
This country seems to be moving in this direction
Alot of the Poor are easily bought off with the idea of maybe becoming one of the Rich
it is that HOPE of socio-economic elevation that maintains this system

When that hope is gone . . .. then and only then will major revolutions will happen
It has to be a tipping point

    That said
The Poors that will sell out their friends and neighbors legitimate think that The Rich
    fundamentally "better" than them
They are smarter, more bold, MORE HOLY
yes they truly think they are closer to GOD than they are

Of course the opposite is that the Poor are considered
    deserving of punishment
    did something wrong
    Sinful etc

This is not about money . . . .it is about the complete and total Ideology of America

Once you become so wealthy that you can literally have any consumable or property or thing that you desire (save that which is owned by a government--I'm mildly surprised there has not been a MAGA push to sell off the Smithsonian holdings), what's left to sate your greed? As the Epstein class shows us, it is owning people and getting away with it. That's on the personal level. Some are also wanting to own society at the national or even global level. As Springsteen said, poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king, and a king ain't satisfied till he rules everything.

The world better get together and prevent anyone from becoming a trillionaire and then go to work on eliminating centi-billionaires at least.

The free market does many wonderful things. But in excess, without decent regulation, it is absolutely a psychopath factory.

The Epstein Class v. normal Americans

This isn't a capitalism v. socialism thing - frankly it never was. That dimension was always bullshit framing, but it doesn't begin to cover the struggle of our time.

It is a network of globalist Oligarchs (Putin - Saud - Trump - Musk -Epstein - Thiel - Netanyahu) who want to be able to continute to operate with impunity, to impoverish and enslave everybody else just liek they enslaved the children on Epstein island or in the ICE concentration camps.

It is Democracy vs. the Elite Kleptocracy.

That is the principal power struggle of American and global politics today.

The sooner people realize they'll never be millionaire or billionaire the better society will be.

Billionaire? You have a better chance of getting hit by lightning.

Millionaire? Perhaps not them but their future offspring might become one if they play the cards right.

If you're not born rich, you ain't gon be rich.

My favorite New Deal statue in DC--the horse is capitalism that will run amuck and trample everything without the control of government, the man. Yet without the horse, the man can't do the work needed to improve his condition.

You get all the Trump suckups (Secretary Nutlick, Kevin O'Leary) talking about "the American dream" (O'Leary isn't even a citizen of the U.S., and I know he isn't talking about Canada being in North America, given how he's been one of Trump's proponents of our country absorbing Canada).

Then after Trump gets re-elected, they're asking ordinary voters about their Trump vote and their disdain of Kamala Harris. I swear so many of the younger dipsh....er, voters were talking about Trump and achieving the American dream (among verbal gymnastics explaining off Trump's general scumbaggery).

People so stupid they don't realize when Trump, early on, was talking about tariffs on NBA: "We're going to get so rich."

And Kristen "Idiot" Welker not asking, "Who's 'we'? You don't mean us all. By 'we', I can see the rich getting richer. How is the average American going to get rich by paying higher prices for products due to tariffs?"

This thread sounds like a bunch of people do not appreciate what they do have.

being a US citizen with good health puts you in the top 5% of the world. Being better than 95% of the world just isnt enough.

And you all have the nerve to talk about greed? Because you will never be a billionaire? Hitting a million isnt that hard.

    [Educational Post]
Republicans want to give freedom and prosperity to all. They want small government, low government intervention, independence, low taxes, religious freedom, and law & order. Republicans favor democracy, where the will of the people decides how they are governed. Republicans want equal opportunity for all.

Democrats want to have government provide for citizens -- housing, funding, medicine. Democrats want a large government and therefore high taxes, because they believe they can spend the money better than can individuals. Democrats want a consortium of government bureaucrats, intel agencies, the media, and lifetime politicians to decide how people are governed. Democrats want equal outcomes for all.

Most major achievements in the world have been accomplished by the same handful of people groups dating back a thousand years. What we see in the USA/world today is simply a continuation of that trend and not a function of the noise that the OP brings up.

Oh, and Epstein was a Democrat and associated almost exclusively with Democrats and members of the Democrat-aligned Deep State. Clinton and Obama's inner circle were Epstein's inner circle. And he hated Trump (who blew the whistle on him and ultimately arrested him and released the files).

    GOOD DAY

BBB primarily benefit the wealthiest, boosting inequality.

    US Income Inequality Statistics 2026

Income and wealth inequality in the United States has reached levels not seen since the Gilded Age.

    Key Inequality Statistics
    • The top 1% of Americans own 32% of the nation's wealth, totaling approximately $46.2 trillion.
    • The U.S. Gini coefficient stands at 0.49, the highest of any developed nation.
    • The bottom 50% of Americans hold just 2.6% of total wealth, roughly $3.7 trillion split among 165 million people.
    • Real wages for the bottom 20% have grown just 4.3% since 2000, compared to 42% for the top 5%.

    Income Mobility Statistics

    • Only 50% of children born in 1984 earn more than their parents did at the same age, down from 92% for those born in 1940.
    • A child born into the bottom 20% has a 7.5% chance of reaching the top 20%.
    • Education is the strongest predictor of upward mobility, with college graduates earning a median of 67% more than those with only a high school diploma.

    The Bottom Line
Income inequality in the United States in 2026 remains exceptionally high by developed-world standards. The top 1% continue to pull away from the rest of the population in both income and wealth, while the bottom half struggles to build meaningful assets. The CEO-to-worker pay ratio of 344:1 encapsulates the scale of the divide. Whether through policy interventions, educational investment, or structural economic changes, addressing inequality remains one of the defining challenges of our era.

"republicans want justice for everyone" lol the guy who literally selling out your safety to top donors wants to help everyone. There's tons of different examples you can use showcasing Trump taking a bribe in the expense of Americans.

No wonder the dumbest of the dumbest Americans are MAGATs @Tomstro

The difference between a billionaire and a millionaire is massive. It is way more than three zeros. A mere millionaire is not buying a national election or corrupting the Supreme Court or pushing through specific laws that only benefit them or consolidating media outlets. When you get up into the 100s of millions, maybe. Hell, I'm technically (not liquidically) a millionaire (house + retirement funds + bank accounts + income + other assets) and I am nowhere near any position where I can influence public policy.

You can view the world half empty or half full. I am appreciative I was born in this country and have a legit chance of becoming a millionaire. Liberals are so entitled they forget that poor countries simply do not have economic opportunities. Its extremely difficult to have a good life in most of these countries. Nobody in this country is stopping you.

Nobody has done more to enrich the Washington Establishment while annihilating the standards of living of poor and middle-class Americans than the Democratic Party and a fair number of equally corrupt Republicans.

That's exactly right. Biden's inflation (through money printing and record spending) decimated the working class and enriched the wealthy.

Who cares about not having staff in nursing homes? We have bigger news from Trump today...

"Great news for America, and our wonderful White House! The Judge on the case of what will be the most beautiful Ballroom anywhere in the World, has just thrown out, and completely erased, the effort to stop its construction."
