    So many series are being decided on by an inconsistent whistle that we ought to have a thread for it.

    I'm confused. Is this thread a discussion about whether we should have a separate official thread vs game threads? Or are we discussing what "ref adversity" in quotes implies. Are you saying there is or isn't quote-unquote ref adversity?

    And while we are at it: What does "ref adversity" mean? Are they being adversarial?

    Can someone start another official thread that explains this one?

    You're thinking about that 4th quarter where the refs went wild trying to bring GS back, aren't you?

    It's about recognizing the problem that occurs all too often in the nba, in a similar fashion as the: hack-a-whoever strategy thread is bringing awareness to a thorny part of the rule book, this thread is meant to showcase ref bias and hopefully put a name to it.
