    Hearing some dad screaming "YEAHHHHHH LIGHT HIM UP!!!" after that 2nd tackle makes me really, REALLY not ever want to get involved with Pee Wee football.

    Oh please. Very few kids hit like that. You saw the other 95% just standing around and the kids that did get whacked were probably more scared than hurt. Nothing like a hard hit to build some character.

    Most 6 year olds are going to cry if they are hit...

    That is just too young to play......tackle....far too young.

    What character is getting built by that at the age of 6?

    Do you have kids?

    How many in this thread played football at 6?

    I started at 8......which to me is more appropriate.

    I refereed football for more than 12 years, I coached it for longer, still do.

    Played it from 8 years old into my 20s.

    And my boys are 11 and 7......

    PeeWee football started from 7-9 years old down here....but few 7 year olds even sign up.

    That is just far too young.....IMO.

    So, yeah, you could say I know a thing or two about it.

    Do your kids play it? When did you sign them up?

    I turned off audio because I'm class so I didn't hear the dad yelling. I couldn't keep a straight face while watching this. That kid got DESTROYED on that second tackle.

    6 years old!?!? That is crazy and an outrage. FAAAR too young to be playing tackle. They are too small and fragile at that stage.

    They need to wait until they are MUCH, MUCH older- 8.

    Those with children know there is a massive difference between 6 and 8...do you have kids?

    Raise your hand if you played tackle football at 6 years old.....
