http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=ari (down near the bottom, a little snippet from John Clayton) I hope some of you saw this on Sportscenter last night, and I still think you have another one this morning to catch it. Leonard Davis literally picked up this dude and threw him like 3 yards. It was one of the coolest things I've seen in football this year. I guess that's what Mad Dog Madden brings to the table!!
Do you remember Stonie Clark? Great tackle in the OU game a while back made defensive play of the year of all of football. If only he was 350 lb instead of 380. I heard somewhere, maybe ESPN Radio, that Rogers is the favorite for defensive rookie of the year.
Cowboys could have had Rogers and then draft Weinke. Hmm.... Rogers and WEinke vs Carter......... Hampton should be playing soon in Pittsburgh.
Leonard Davis has to be the biggest guy I've ever seen. The guy needs his own zip code. I sat at a table with him, Drew Brees, and Justin Smith at the NFL Rookie Premiere. Davis was incredibly soft-spoken and had a relative with him at all times (his mother?) who babied him. I ran into him later at the hotel and spoke to him briefly about playing at UT. He really liked Austin and had a good time in college. He wasn't very talkative, though, so I left him alone after 5 minutes (sorry, no Applewhite vs. Simms questions...). He was nice, but somewhat unemotional. Besides Vick, he was the only person at the event I felt I had to meet (due to his Longhorn roots).
Leonard "Bigs" Davis is probably the biggest guy I've ever seen. 6'5, 370 lbs, he used to take up half the sidewalk on Speedway on campus. He used to manhandle opponents every Saturday, and will be a perrenial all-pro. Don't forget about Mike Williams, a definite 1st rounder next spring. He's only allowed 1 sack in 21 starts.
I know dude , You dont see offensive lineman get highlights but He picked up this guy and threw him down with ONE HAND!!!! I could not believe it .
Vescey, just out of curiousity, what type of work do you do? How were you fortunate enough to be at that little festival?????
Davis was pretty funny on the rookie premiere show with Kevin Greene. Greene was scared of every rookie, especially LD, lol. Thus far, MW has yet to allow a sack this year, and some have said he's more athletic than LD, though prolly not as muscular. Behind McKinnie, MW is definitely the second best OT in college. LD looks to be a better pro than he was a collegian.
I'm too lazy to explain what I do, so I'll just link the thread that'll do it for me. It's in there somewhere. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21371
