That is the smartest I have seen Cuttino play.

At least 7 of Cuttino's 8 shots were from passes, rather than from the dribble. He moved brilliantly without the ball, and got a lot of open shots. And in the last offensive sequence, rather than taking the shot, Cuttino drove to the basket and passed to a wide-open Moochie Norris. He could have easily launched one of his ugly step-back jumpers, but instead he made the pass. It is nice to see some intelligence from Cat. Hopefully he will keep it up.

Not bad Cuttino. Not bad at all, even though he didn't do too good containing Paul Pierce. I was disappointed in Steve taking those bad shots in crunch time. Those are shots I expected Cuttino to take. But hey, we got a win, so I'll save the criticism for the next loss. :D

I too was dissapointed with Steve a bit too. But I recognized he was trying to take it strong to the whole becasue his outside shot wasnt falling and get some calls. It must've worked abit as he shot 13 free throws.

Now before the Mobley lovers come in and say..."You don't complain when Steve does dumb stuff," a) I said I was dissapointed, b) I dont think it was that dumb - he was being agressive by taking it to the whole. Mobley's dumb shots in the past are generally fade aways 20 ft from the basket with a hand in his face - he doenst get to the free throw line as often as he should for such a quick first step (0 times tonight).

That said, Mobley did play much better tonight. He was generally within the flow of the offense, getting open looks, our kicking it out to open shots when he got doubled.

Was KT just having match-up problems tonight? I really think the starting lineup we went with we should stick for the rest of the season. I hope KT's relatively bad game wasnt because he just doesnt play as well within the flow of a passing offense, but just because he was having troubles with his match-up problems (Pierce)

Yes, that play was great for 2 reasons...

    1) Cat passed the ball
    2) Moochie didn't create the shot

    Much love to Cuttino...

Who has contained Pierce this year? He's like a taller, athletic Adrain Dantley. Just an awesome player.

As for Stevie, he got a triple double off the hook. Did his migraines effect him tonight?
