I have to admit, I liked the guy. He was of the most incredible players I have ever seen.I hated him when he was on the other teams but when he came here. I could not believe the type of talent he had. To be 6' 4" and out-rebound 7 footers was unreal. He had more heart and determination than 80% of the league today. I just wanted to say thanks for everything Chuck and you will always be to me "the greatest player under 6'5" that I will ever see".

Thank you, Sir Charles, for all the years of dedication, determination, heart, great play, and entertainment. You will be missed!

I feel a real sense of loss, particularly because of the way his career ended. I've been a sports fan all my life, but Barkley is my all time favorite player in any sport.

I live in Phoenix and was a Suns fan until Barkley became a Rocket. I became a Rockets fan and will remain a Rockets fan.
