We have now seen how well the rookies have been playing. If you were the Texans and could do the draft over today.

Whom would you pick number 1?

    And why?

Everyone knows that I would take Vince because he is a freakish athlete and proven winner at the most important position in football, what about you guys?

Voted for Bush. Carr is not the problem. He has been a pretty efficient qb. Add Bush to the mix with AJ, Moulds and Daniels and you have a pretty stacked offense.

I would take Vince or Bush. The Texans got no running game and David Carr suck. Drafting either of those 2 would have at least solved one problem

I could certainly see that....Imagine Carr doing the dump off thing to Bush?

Bush is a Brian Westbrook style of runner, and that is exactly what Carr needs to help him out.

When would you have liked the poll at the end of the season? I think it is apt.

Its pretty much equivilent to taking a "who do you hate the most?" poll after the 1997 WCF vs. the Jazz.

    A) John Stockton
    B) Turd Sandwich
    C) Giant Douche

I wanted Vince the whole time, but when we drafted Mario, I was okay with it.

My stance hasn't really changed. I would love to see Vince in a Texans uniform, but I'm glad we have Mario.

I still go with Mario. The defense needed more help and has improved over the course of the season. And the offense hasn't been THAT bad, considering we could be better than 4-9 right now if we won the games we held leads.

Bush isn't the answer at the running back spot the team needs, since most of his big plays seem to come off of receptions or kick returns....he only averages 10 runs a game.

Watching VY play does make it tempting; he does have the intangibles that all winners have. But Carr is and can be an efficient quarterback; and you can win with that.

We still need help at defense as much as offense... there should be a do-over poll from 2002 (and every year since then).

This organization had a LONG way to go before the season started... why some of you thought it would be "done" in 12 games is ridiculous.

True, but in order to win like that you need to have an outstanding defense.

Kind of like Baltimore with Ray Lewis, when they were quarterbacked by Trent Dilfer, but still managed to win it all.

I think this is the direction the Texan's took.

At the start of the season the Titans were much worse than the Texans -- until VY took over.

    Seriously.

Neither Bush, VY, Mario, Leinert would be the savior this team needs because it takes more than one...for this team it's a lot more than one.

Really? I thought we were the ones who were 2-14 and had the worst record in football last year, which resulted in a new head coach, new defensive coordinator, and a new GM.

The Saints were worse than the Titans... and they're better than most of the NFL.

Some teams are a few players away from success... and then there's the Texans.

Exactly how i feel. I chose MW.....Bush isn't even close to a RB we need, and Carr isn't the problem with this team.

There are soooo many holes in this team. They need MANY picks...not just 1.
