    Quick thoughts

That is a good central location for the current population boom happening North of I-10 to Conroe

Partnering with Harris County seems like a good indication games will continue at NRG Stadium for a long time and many upgrades will continue to keep these large events coming to Houston.

Howard Hughes Holdings will do a fantastic job and the gold standard of these is the Battery in Atlanta so lets hope we get something similar

With the extra space at NRG I hope a mini year around mixed use can get built so there is a place to go on foot after events

On a personal note I wish the location was close to an area I go to.

I will rarley be in Cypress and won't drive out of my way to go there but good for the folks in Bridgeland, Towne Lake and Black Horse as they are gonna get something pretty cool

You think the County only partnered because they think they will stay at NRG?

Weird location. No players live in NW Houston. It's far from anything fun. Maybe that's the point

Funniest thing about the location, its like ten minutes from Amy Adam Skank's house in Waller lol

I broke this last year! Lol

It’s going to be a game changer for NW Houston.

Yall should look up “the star” in Frisco.

    they are going for that

I think it's a good indication all sides will work to keep playing games at NRG

The stadium has good bones and the parking needed for football, rodeo and large events

Why does it matter where the players live now?

In 3 years almost the entire roster will have turned over.

The Massive growth is happening in Montgomery County and now you are seeing areas west like Waller and Austin.

Harris County is run by idiots now so this is probably the best case scenario for the Texans

Get their corporate welfare, be as close to the areas people are moving to and still be accessible to the west side of Houston.

    Not familiar with it.

I pulled up “the star” in frisco and to me it just creates a new entertainment aspect in NW Houston for young people. I don’t foresee the stadium shifting locations. This is more to create a stronger fanbase on the north side.

    Nothing but great news.

It’s still going to be within Harris county fyi. Despite a hockley address. For those who want to know!

Only Intel I can give about the Texans stadium at this time.

Mcnairs are internally threatening to move if major scale changes aren’t made to improvements in house(there first choice is to stay). They are not happy currently though so things can change in a hurry!

If they build a stadium in the suburbs I wonder what the renovation numbers for rodeo/convention/other events look like at NRG

The 1.4 Billion has to be cut in half right?

Less about location and more about the McNairs being unhappy with NRG. They prefer to stay if the stadium reflects a top of the line modern arena!

I just don't think that it's a good place at all for the players. I don't think many young 20 somethings will move to NW Houston, they will stay closer to the city and commute an hour to practice. Seems a move made more to benefit the McNairs than the players, which is fine btw. Also the people of NW Houston will be happy.

It's not the woodlands but where that facility will be is way nicer than Pearland and Mo City where many live now to be close to NRG

F them. Billionaires holding the city hostage again? No thank you. They want to socialize the costs of their assets, but not the profits.
How much did the public pay for Sofi Stadium again? Follow that model, McNairs.
