    The Raiders' busy offseason may not be over yet. Philadelphia television station WPVI is reporting that there is a trade in the works that would send disgruntled wideout Terrell Owens, who had 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Eagles last season, to Oakland in exchange for Jerry Porter and possibly a draft pick. Porter caught 64 balls for 998 yards and nine touchdowns in 2004.

    Update: A report has surfaced that the Eagles are in negotiations with the Raiders on a trade that would send Owens to Oakland for Jerry Porter, according to ABC sports.


    I don't really know what to make of this. Moss and Porter is already a deadly combo but having Moss and TO would give us possibly the best WR duo ever.
    I just don't know if the benefits outweigh the risks here, Porter has gamebreaker potential and Owens is 31 years old with a pain in the ass agent.

    Kerry Collins is having the highest jump in fanstasy drafts in history first with getting Moss alongside of Porter. Now if they throw Owens in there he might be getting up higher and higher in value....if he has Moss and Owens on the same team and doesn't throw a crap load of TD's this season he is going to be crucified lol.

    i will buy madden 2006 and play with the raiders everytime...all i need to do is trade depth and draft picks for peyton manning and i'd be set..

    Phillip Buchanon is burnt toast and that is my opinion.

    Terrell Owens is the best WR in the NFL (not already on the raiders), Buchanon cannot cover a Lions FB on a fly route.

    And if It was up to me, I'd rather keep Porter.

    I was listening to Mike and Mike (don't know who's filling in) and they talked with Sal Paolantonio who said he called Porter's agent who hadn't heard about it, and the agent called up his own sources and then told Sal it wasn't true. Of course he said if it was real, the Eagles do it because Owen's has already had his "last straw" moment and everybody from McNabb up to ownership want him gone. Porter is 5 years younger, cheaper, and not a pain in the ass at all. But then he said there is probably no team that is both willing to trade for him and has the money to pay him what he wants.
