I was surprised to read he was waived by the Grizzlies today. He had great last month last year with Memphis when he averaged 18.8 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg, and 2.6 spg in 8 games. He is still very young and is developing. I think he could help the Rockets with their lack of scoring. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4195/splits?year=2006&type=Fielding
What the heck? He helped my fantasy team considerably at the end of last year. Is there something "wrong" with him???
Yea I picked him last year he was great. They waived him because had he been on the roster on Dec. 20 his contract would have become guaranteed.
No he's not a great (or necessarily good) three point shooter, but he does well inside the arch. He was just under 50% fg at the end of last season and if I recall correctly had quite a few good rebounding games... like 8 or 9 at a time. I wonder if he will get picked up by someone else or head to Europe.
