Clutchfans! Come to my rescue!!!! If anyone would like to help a procrastinator in need, I have some surveys I need filled out. If anyone here speaks Arabic I would really like to get some of their responses. But any language is okay. These questions are a lil odd, but basically I am looking to see how different cultures, and genders within those cultures, express their emotional value for an object or person. There are a few scenarios, asking you to imagine being the position, if you are not a mother or father, just pretend, if you don't have friends of 20 years because your 20 than pretend! haha thanks for ANYONE who answers this...seriously i'll be happy if i get 3 people cuz I walked all over Austin today and got a good amount of them done, just trying to add as many as I can. Native Language (L1)_____________________ Gender:______________________ Instructions: Fill out the survey by answering the following scenarios with the verbal emotion that comes to your mind. 1.) You are at the airport saying goodbye to your son/daughter, who is leaving for a 2 year trip to Africa. When saying goodbye, what other emotion do you express verbally? 2.) You are on the phone with a very close friend of 20 years, as you hang up, what do you conclude the conversation with? 3.) Your husband/wife of 15 years is going away on a week-long business trip, how do you bid farewell? 4.) How would you describe your feelings for your favorite movie? 5.) “ “ Your favorite food? 6.) “ “ Your best friend? 7.) “ “ Your girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband? THANKS!!!
