I need to finally get around to cleaning out my hard drive. I have a ton of pics I want to move. I have the DVD-R's. I have the DVD burner. I have the pics. What's the best way to get them off of my hard drive onto the dvd? I tried just dragging the folders to the dvd drive but that didn't work. Also, should I be using a RW DVD instead of the just the R? Thanks.
Yep. But I couldn't get it to work properly. Operator error I'm sure. Here's a dumb question. Once I burn the pics on the dvd-r disk, can I add more pics to it later?
only if you are using a DVD-RW disk...and even then you will need to ensure the packet driver is installed.(DirectCD, etc) what burning app are you tryin to use? In whatever one you are using, most will have some sort of wizard pop up to start you off with....choose to create a Data dvd...and add everything you want...then burn. you wont be able to change what is stored on there...but you should be able to view them on any computer with a dvd player. if you want to be able to view them on a dvd player(standalone)...that is a different matter..
