Haven't really heard anyone talking about, but unless I'm mistaken we turn our clocks back "tonight" at 2am.

    Enjoy that extra hour, everybody.

Man, that sounds nice to get an extra hour. Here in Arizona, we don't do any of that.

I'm not sure why. I've only been here 9 months, so I do miss the "fall back" schedule.

Oh well, at least the weather is always nice.

Yeah, but there is that whole hour we lose thing in the Spring... ;)

Where in Arizona? I always look up and see 110 degree temps in the summer in places like Tucson, I think. And yes, of course, it's "a dry heat". lol.

this sucks. now it's brighter in the morning when i'd prefer to drive to work when it's dark and then it gets dark at about 5:30 at night, which is just ridiculous. we should always stay on daylight savings time (or is this normal time?).

Fosho, fosho. That's how we do -- give every body an extra hour to chillax.

Getting dark at 6PM is awesome! Electric bill now goes down even more.

I feel you there. I hate when it gets dark around 5:30. I like to go for a run in the evenings around that time...it just makes you not want to be outside.

how do folks claim their electric bill goes down when it gets darker earlier?

wouldn't you be turning the lights on for an extra hour per day?

regardless, getting dark is not good for the business I'm in. After 5:30 PM the afterschool programs in the Fall are all empty... we operate until 6:00 and then some kids have to walk home in the dark...

to conserve energy in the summertime and for entertainment purposes, to maximize the amount of daylight leisure activities...

lots of controversy with DST, some say it's contradictory and harmful for farmers.
