So I scored 1900 on my SAT...

    Math 660
    Writing 660
    -8 out of 12 on my essay

    I was aiming for the 2000s so I was bummed, this was my first time taking it btw, without any classes or courses, I'm looking into taking it again so I can get that 100 pts, I was just wondering if this was a good score that'll get me into some pretty good colleges.

    depends on ur class rank and stuff, but 2000 would probably get u in to any decent public colleges.

    I don't know what how the scoring system works now. Back in my day, it was on a 1600 point scale.

    Depending on your class rank, you might be able to get into Tomball College.

    most all colleges dont even look at writing, of course my luck that I got when I took the SAT my 2nd time my writing went up 200 and only 30 on the stuff that counts

    Well, it depends on what you mean by pretty good colleges. For the top 30 or so schools in the nation, that's a lower end score. But that will easily get you all the public schools in Texas and a lot of others nationwide. Just know that there's a lot more to college admissions than SAT scores.

    Baylor will probably accept you if you get a 250 or higher...

    As long as you can pay 30 grand a year, THAT'S what they love about you.

    I got a 100% on the writing part. Biiiitch. But that was in the 1600 days. I dont know what the hell is going on anymore.

    i guess its the old book smart vs common sense/street smarts

    i got 2110, top 20% of class at a very competitive high school, didn't get into texas.

    automatic acceptance at all the other big schools, but texas..............
    i don't like them.

    sorry, i just had to point out the flaw that has been pointed out NUMEROUS times before.
