I mentioned this in another thread, but thought I'd throw it out again for fodder, I mean discussion. Why not sign-in-trade... MoT, SA, 1st DC (Maybe Chi-owed pick) for CWebb? If we sign Mo for say $7M and SA for $5M wouldn't that work? We could add another player if contracts lower (maybe Collier). Oh, I'd love to give them Cato and Wiz, but don't think they'd buy that bridge. SAC gets a decent young PF and a Christie replacement. They probably won't be as tough as last year, but the addition of Bibby should help. Am I missing some technical wisdom on how we could make that work? I know SAC probably wouldn't make that trade unless they were sure he wouldn't resign and it was the best deal they could make, but CD has been known to make great things happen late in FA derby. Any feedback from the board? ------------------
It sounds good, but the Kings would probably prefer a deal with Indiana. They wouldn't want to help a western team. ------------------ Protrolls.com! "I want to be like Olajon." -Sagana Diop has the right idea... Keep the ???? alive!
The Kings don't need a replacement for Christie since it appears he is going to re-up with them. ------------------ "Instruments are like women: After a while, you want to make love to another." - Nicolas Godin of the musical duo Air
If I were Sac, I'd rather let Webber walk. If I were Houston, I'd rather keep Mo. ------------------ "I guess that's YOUR theory"
