2 weeks from tonight im going to Rage against the Machine in Melbourne. The tickets to the show sold out in 2mins. Ive never understood how that could be possible, but im glad I got in within that timeframe i never thought i'd get to see them live. Absolutely pumped. can anyone whose seen them live please share your experiences in this thread?
yeah man. didnt you hear about their reformation? im sure they'll be touring the US soon. check out their site for more details... http://ratm.com/
i saw them late 90's. it was a great show. didn't do anything completely out of left field or anything, just a great show.
Man, there is nothing like a Rage show. You are so lucky...have a great time. I was just watching my Rage DVD's two nights ago.
so lucky i wanted to go when they were in new orleans in october if they make an appearence anywhere in texas im going, its been one of my life goals to go to a concert of theirs
Went at the AstroArena in the 90's after their 2nd album. It was a great show. The only thing I didn't like was all the idiots there who only wanted to hear "Killing in the Name of". They didn't know the words to any other song other than screaming "F*** YOU! I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME!" I've kind of lost touch due to age, different music taste, etc. Still appreciate the messages, though. It's a great show if you've never seen them live before.
I have similar concerns about idiots at this show. their show - as awesome as it is - can incite the idiots and troublemakers of the world to do just that ... cause trouble. a few brews beforehand won't aid the situation. i shouldnt really say RATM shows "incite" that behaviour, I wouldnt want to insinuate that Zack and the boys are intentionally doing it. They want to make people think and take action....but think first!! and then take appropriate action, for the right reasons!! so there's a bit of trepidation on my part, not quite knowing what to expect, but the music will be incredible no doubt.
