    It's been legal in Washington since the new year. It's just the dispensaries didn't have the proper licensing until now.

    I see you guys are taking a page out of the Iranian democracy rulebook.

    Let people do things against federal law, keep the legal uncertainty in your back pocket in case it can be used in the future.

    I don't understand this whole thing. If there are many states (and I'm not sure there are) against the federal legal framework - i.e. who gets to decide if I can do this particular thing in my state - then why can't this be addressed in a more clear fashion through the system itself?

    This may eventually go to the SCOTUS as a state's rights thing. I don't mind it being legalized federally.
